It's Okay To Take A Break!



Have you ever taken a much needed break?


Recently, I've had several life events that have taken precedence and priority. Since the holidays, I was forced to step away from doing what I love most in order to be present with those I love most!


Uninterrupted, quality time with family is one of life's greatest treasures. Watching my children grow is something I cherish and don't take lightly. They are growing up much too fast. Lucas continues to thrive with just a few months shy of turning five, and Lorenzo's wild and humorous personality is really shinning through now at eighteen months young.


Gosh I love my boys! I've learned its important for me to feel my best in order to give them my best. I have spent the past few months being intentional about practicing the things I preach; time with them is vital to my health and wellness.

In spending time with my family, I've also taken some time to refocus and realign my life towards my primary purpose, destiny and ultimate calling; marriage and motherhood. In doing so, Heaven gifted me the 'unexpected'... our third little blessing! Baby Termale #3 has surely come as a surprise to us but we are thrilled and grateful for our little growing family.

As you can imagine, this has been one of the main reasons for stepping back and taking a very much needed break.




Initially, I worried about the setback that such a "break" would cause me, especially from a small business perspective. But breaks are often times necessary. It's okay to take a break! It's okay to rest. The Lord Himself rested after having created a beautiful beginning. In the same way, I too needed rest after having launched the first chapter of A Trusted Friend Co.
